Flexo Printing
Think of this method of label printing like a typical ink stamp. Ink is applied to a customized printing plate that's attached to cylinders. The cylinders then roll over the label material to print the design. It's a true craft and requires skilled operators (we might be biased, but we think our operators are the best in the biz).
Why Flexo?
Flexo printing (short for flexographic) is synonymous with mass production. It's built for high-speed and high volumes and can print on even the most unique materials.
The Digital Press
Digital presses operate similar to your office inkjet printers but with much, much more power and precision. So unlike flexo printing, there are no plates - instead the ink is applied directly to the printing surface.
We've chosen UV Inkjet for our digital printing. The durable UV ink is sprayed on to the substrate using thousands of nozzles within the printhead.
Why Digital?
Without plates, the digital press offers you the flexibility to change the design or have multiple versions/SKUs on the same die.
